Before there was an online community of 1.7 million praying mommas, there was one momma, Susan, and her brand new baby, Becky.

Shortly after bringing Becky home from the hospital, Susan would stand at the window late at night and sway back and forth with her baby girl. She'd look out at the glowing white cross atop the hospital in the distance, and she'd think of all the mommas who were having their babies... and she'd pause to pray for them.

Nearly 30 years later, Becky and Susan launched the Midnight Mom Devotional community on Facebook, praying for millions of mommas in need of hope or healing.

You might recognize the familiar words... "Tonight we pray for the momma."

It all began back in 1987
